Movie Review: Courageous

Courageous

I couldn’t believe it. For the first time in my life, I was a VIP to a movie pre-screening.

There is no emotion more invigorating and empowering than walking up to the box office, waving a not-so-fancy Gmail printout, and having the person behind the plexiglass give you “the nod,” like you’re a Secret Service agent with a special order for protecting the President. Alas, my blue jeans and button shirt would have to do.

As I walked into the theater, I had no idea what I was in for. I thought it was just another Sherwood Pictures movie with a nice message and mediocre acting.

Little did I know that I was in for Courageous.

Four officers. Four men. Four fathers. One mission.
